What we cover
Our website maintenance packages are designed to keep your site secure, fast and online. Each of our packages covers elements such as managed hosting, software and security updates, backups, uptime monitoring and content changes, on WordPress and other platforms.
Alongside the management of key technical aspects, we also implement content changes and amendments as your team needs. This can include the addition of new team members, changes to important company information, or the replacement of existing or out-of-date content.
We also monitor uptime and page speed around the clock, and report on the work we've carried out alongside how the site is performing, so you always know the condition of your website.
Every package includes managed hosting on our own servers, a secure HTTPS connection and security monitoring designed to identify and resolve problems early. Our hosting solutions are tailored to how your site is used, so you only pay for what you need.
As every website is built from software that needs updating as new versions are released, we take backups before each update, test the key pages afterwards and roll back if anything has broken. All of this is undertaken alongside scheduled backups that allow us to restore your site quickly if it's ever needed.
WordPress powers over 40% of the web, and it needs regular attention as a result. Core software, plugins and themes are updated constantly, and each one is a point where a site can break or represent a security risk. We keep plugins to a minimum, and keep the ones we do use up to date, tested and backed up.
We also manage websites built on other platforms, including custom builds, and you don't need to have built your website with us to use one of our website maintenance packages. Before we take on a new site, we carry out a full review of your site and its hosting situation, and fix anything that's already at risk.
The right level of cover depends on the job your website does for your business. A five-page brochure needs less than a website that has multiple product categories and an established product database, so we'll recommend the package that best fits your business once we've reviewed your site.
Cost
Our Essentials package is £420 a month and Managed is £840 a month, both plus VAT. Managed+ is priced to the size and number of websites within your portfolio.
